However, the most valuable in all this is the beneficial geothermal water with a temperature of 75 degrees Celsius, which springs from a depth of 1300 meters. At the glass pyramid, under which, in the central part of the spa complex, there is a large well, the water in Dvorovi is sodium-calcium-hydrocarbonate-chloride slightly alkaline - that is what makes this water beneficial.
Hydrologists claim that below Semberija and Mačva is a huge lake and hot almost laboratory-clean water, created by the centuries-old sinking of the Drina River when it erupts behind the Gučevo mountain.
The water well in Dvorovi was drilled in 1956, when oil exploration was carried out. Instead of black gold, hot water flowed. Enterprising Dvorovljani gave it for analysis, and the results exceeded the expectations of even the most optimistic - water has a whole range of medicinal properties.
The spa was gradually built. First they had several bathrooms, a hot water tank, and then in 1968 they built an Olympic-scale swimming pool. At first, they had to cool the water to use it in the spa. They continued to build hotels, restaurants, swimming pools, sports fields, parks, alleys, flower beds and other infrastructure. The construction of the spa continues even now. They have a lot of plans and are confident that they will succeed in that endeavor.
Along with the tourist and catering part, great attention is paid to the medical complex in the Dvorovi spa, because the treatment of chronic rheumatic diseases, mild forms of diabetes, chronic gastritis, post-traumatic limb injuries, chronic gynecological diseases, lumbago, spondylolisthesis, spondylosis, has proven to be reliable.

Swimming pools and sports fields are visited daily in summer by over 6,000 guests from Semberija, Podmajevica region, Podrinje, Macva, Srem and Posavina.
